Join Kehilat Sukkat Shalom for a special night of music and mysticism as we welcome Kirtan Rabbi. This, our second annual event opening the gates to the Days of Awe, is supported by a grant from ALEPH: Alliance for Jewish Renewal and the National Center to Encourage Judaism.

Kirtan Rabbi (Rabbi Andrew Hahn) creates a unique blend of rhythmic and melodic flow, Hebrew chant, and meditation which make his participatory events memorable. Kirtan Rabbi’s events are punctuated by the sounds of drums and other instruments, some from India where kirtan originated in the Vedic tradition. Kirtan is a Sanskrit term which can be translated as “collective performance.” In other words, YOU are the secret ingredient in this special opportunity to participate in a transformative event unlike any Columbus has hosted!
