Merav Livneh-Dill speaks to the crowd.

Merav Livneh-Dill, senior shlicha and Israel and overseas director at JewishColumbus, spoke to approximately 70 people about life in Israel Sept. 4 at the First Community Church in Columbus. She also discussed the then-upcoming Israeli election.

“The most interesting part of my work is the opportunities I get to meet new people and the chance to share my Israeli story with them,” she said in an email. “At the end of the day, it is all about conversations, relationships and the ability to understand someone that maybe thinks different than you.”

Rev. David Hett, minister of religious life and learning at First Community Church, and Merav Livneh-Dill. Hett hosted the event.
