Nazareth Restaurant & Deli, a Columbus restaurant featuring Middle Eastern cuisine, celebrated its 30th anniversary with a community celebration July 17. The restaurant owned by Hany Baransi, an Israel native, was the site of an attack in February 2016 when an attacker, Mohamed Barry, injured four diners with a machete. All survived their wounds while the assailant was killed by Columbus Police within an hour of the attack.
