Our dear mother Diane Cooper Tyroler, 89, peacefully passed away surrounded by family and love on Sept. 29, 2022.

Born in Omaha, Neb., to Sarah and Henry Cooper April 5, 1933, Diane went on to graduate from the University of Nebraska with a degree in education. Shortly after, she moved to Columbus and married optometrist Albert Tyroler in 1954. Together, they raised a family of four boys while becoming beloved members of the community.

In her free time, Diane volunteered on the board of Congregation Tifereth Israel and participated in the Sisterhood and Haddassah. She enjoyed travel, making ceramics, solving crossword puzzles, playing bridge and mahjong, and cooking Jewish feasts.

Diane was preceded in death by Albert, her husband of 55 years; her sister, Arlene; and her, brother Harvey. She is survived by sons, Shmuel (Dvora), Ronald, Charles (Astrid) and Matthew; brother, William; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

A graveside service to remember her life was held Oct. 2 at New Tifereth Israel Cemetery.
