Chop5 Salad Kitchen’s new location at 1305 W. Lane Ave. in Columbus is currently under construction.
Aiming for a spring opening, the restaurant will seat up to 60 customers between its indoor dining and patio. The location previously housed a Moe’s Southwest Grill and the Greek Corner Cafe. Founded by a group of restaurant executives and operators, Chop5 opened its first restaurant at 2044 Polaris Parkway in late 2016, followed by restaurants in Boulder, Colo., and Orlando, Fla. The Polaris restaurant serves as the brand’s test kitchen.
Chop5 offers chopped salads like its classic Cobb and Greek offerings, as well as more unique flavors like buffalo chicken, Korean chicken, Asian and southwest chipotle. It also offers bowls, where customers can order the same mix of proteins and vegetables to pair with a sauce on top of rice and/or beans.
