Louisville, Ky.-based Goodwood Brewing & Spirits is planning to open its first Ohio location at 401 N. Front St. in Columbus’ Arena District in mid-February 2022.
The brewery will take up 13,400 square feet indoors and an additional 900 square feet of patio space. The bar will feature more than 30 local bourbons, as well as a number of its own core brews and special releases. Along with its alcoholic offerings, the menu will feature
burgers, wings, bourbon glazed salmon, buffalo cauliflower, fried green tomatoes, and chicken and waffles. The menu will also feature beer-infused house-made sauces.
The space formerly held the Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant, which closed in March 2020 after 19 years. It was the only location for the brewery in Ohio.
Hours are going to start at 11 a.m. daily, and could be earlier if there is a big game locally. Brunch will be served on the weekends.
