Hot Chicken Takeover is set to open another Central Ohio location.
Its eighth location in the area, the new spot has a projected April opening at 109 N. Hamilton Road in Gahanna. This is the third location that has opened in the past six months, according to Columbus Business First. The other locations are in Grandview Heights, Powell, Westerville and three in Columbus.
The new location is housed in the Commons at Clark Hall development and will occupy 2,200 square feet. The space most recently was home to a The Sauce Boiling Seafood Express and before that, a Smashburger.
Hot Chicken Takeover is under the Untamed Brands umbrella, which acquired the restaurant brand in 2021.
There is also one location in Crocker Park in Westlake, a suburb of Cleveland.
