Campus Partners, a business management consulting company in Columbus, announced Sept. 30 the opening of four new restaurants at University Square at The Ohio State University in Columbus.

University Square North is already open, with 250 university employees, including the school’s office of advancement. University Square South is still under construction and expected to be completed in summer 2022.

Bubbles Tea & Juice Company opened in 2005 in North Market and is now open at the plaza on 15th Avenue and High Street. It offers fruit and vegetable cold pressed juices, smoothies and bubble teas. LemonShark Poke & Makai Grill will open its second Ohio location at University Square North. The Hawaiian-themed restaurant offers sushi-grade fish, hibachi-style grilled meats, seafood and vegetables. Guests will also have access to a full bar and craft cocktails.

Roots Natural Kitchen, a fast casual restaurant serving salads and grain bowls, will open in early November at 10 E. 15th Ave. It has opened nine locations since 2015, with two more on the way before the end of 2021. Lastly, Barrio Tacos, will open its second Columbus location in the coming months at University Square North. The location was originally announced in February.

“We sought out each of these new restaurants at University Square with students, neighbors and visitors to campus in mind,” Matt Hansen, senior campus planner at Campus Partners, said in a news release. “It’s been exciting to curate this mix of eateries, with some having a local connection and others being the first ever in the state of Ohio. Whether you are stopping by for a bite on the way to class, grabbing lunch with friends, networking with your colleagues at happy hour or taking your parents out to dinner, there will be something for everyone to enjoy at University Square.”
