Short North Food Hall, at 1112 N. High St. in Columbus’ Short North neighborhood, has closed, according to a May 25 announcement from the restaurant. It had been open for a little over three years since opening in March 2018.
But, the space will not remain empty for long. The closure is in anticipation of the expansion of Standard Hall, which operates next door at 1100 N. High St. Both ventures are operated by Corso Ventures.
“Today we are excited to announce the end of an era,” a statement on Short North Food Hall’s Facebook page said. “Short North Food Hall is shutting it’s doors to make way for the long-awaited expansion of Standard Hall. ... We are so thankful to everyone who has supported us over the last three years at both Short North Food Hall and Standard Hall.”
The statement said the expanded space should be completed in the coming weeks, with Standard Hall remaining open during the renovation.
