Stock bee honey

“Honey Bees in Bexley,” a children’s discussion, will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Sept. 26 at Schneider Park Shelter House in Bexley.

Instructor Christen Corey will host the discussion on bees and honey bees, and why are they important. It is geared toward those ages 4 to 10 and costs $5 per student.

The talk is part of Green Bexley’s kids’ boot camp, which consists of a series of six weekly, Saturday morning events to educate children on various topics relating to the natural world and sustainability. Children can attend a single class, or sign up for any that are available in their age range. All classes take place from 10 to 11 a.m., and they are outdoor, in-person events that require masks and social distancing.

The park is at 2130 Astor Ave.
