The Jewish Community Center of Greater Columbus opened a new kosher food option for the Columbus community in its lobby, providing a variety of items prepared by J Catering.

According to a press release, the J Catering Kosher Grab & Go will be in the JCC’s main lobby on College Avenue where the gift store used to be. The kosher food store, which opened during Passover, offers soda, chips, sandwiches, frozen meat, wine, dry goods and non-perishable items. The store also offers various J Catering staples, including macaroni & cheese, challah, roasted chicken, along with frozen kosher meat, for pick-up during the week.

The store, funded with support from the Ticho Fund, is open during regular JCC business hours, except for Saturdays. J Catering and the J Catering Grab & Go store are supervised by Buckeye Kosher and the Vaad Ho-ir of Columbus.

The JCC will host a grand opening between late May and early June.
