JewishColumbus will provide 1,000 kosher for Passover chickens for families in need ahead of the holiday.

In partnership with the Jewish Community Center of Greater Columbus and the Columbus Board of Rabbis, the chickens will be available for curbside pickup at the JCC Zusman Facility in the back of the main JCC building, 1125 College Ave., Columbus.

Pick up times are: 1 to 3 p.m. March 31; and 10 a.m. to noon and 2 to 4 p.m. April 1 and April 2.

Those interested in receiving the donated chickens may fill out a form at bit.ly/2yjcgXl. The deadline to register is 5 p.m. March 30.

Individuals interested in volunteering for the distribution may contact Rachael Coe at rachael@jewishcolumbus.org.

Funding for such endeavors comes from JewishColumbus’ Community Response Fund to address the pandemic. Those interested in donating may do so at bit.ly/39tmPE6.
