The league will sometimes have upwards of close to 70 people competing.

Team Vesler leads the I.M. Harris Men’s B’nai B’rith Bowling League with a .719 winning percentage after the two latest matches on Oct. 3 and Oct. 10 at Holiday Lanes in Whitehall.

Team namesake Ryan Vesler entered the Oct. 3 match with a 216.67 pins per game average and upped his average to 220.3 following a 672 series with games of 195, 255 and 222.

Team Vesler is followed by Columbus Oncology Association and Nutis Press in the rankings with .621 and .594 winning percentages respectively.

Meanwhile, Barry Daroe, anchor bowler for Strip, Hopper and Leithart Law, which currently ranks 8th out of 10 teams, did his part to move his team up the ranks by rolling twelve consecutive strikes across two games Oct. 3 for a “wrap-around 300.”

During the Oct. 10 matches, Nick Delp had a league-best 628 series, with a high score of 258, followed by David Stone with a 609 and Jonathan Beck with 589.
