State senators in Ohio on Oct. 15 introduced a bill to lift the 10 p.m. curfew on alcohol sales at bars and restaurants.

The curfew was put in place July 31 in an attempt to curb the spread of COVID-19 throughout the state.

The bill with bipartisan support was introduced as daily reported cases of the coronavirus in Ohio set a new record for the second day in a row
